Debora McComic - President

Debora McComic, Executive Vice President, Kahl Insurance Services, LLC
Deb started her career in the insurance industry in 1982. Since 1995, her experience has been exclusively focused on medical professional liability and business liability insurance for the healthcare industry.

In April 2000, Deb joined Kahl Insurance Services, LLC headquartered in Englewood, Colorado. Kahl Insurance Services is an insurance brokerage firm dedicated to the healthcare industry whose clients include healthcare systems, hospitals, individual physicians, medical group practices and ancillary healthcare facilities. Deb is responsible for managing the day-to-day servicing operations of new and existing business and continues to expand her role in sales to develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients within the healthcare industry.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Washington University and a Master of Science in Management degree from Regis University. She currently serves as President of CHARM and is honored to be a part of and serve as an Executive Committee team member.


Erika Bol - President Elect

Erika Bol received her Master’s of Science Degree in Health Systems Administration from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois.  She currently works as the Risk Manager and Director of Compliance and Privacy for Serio Physician Management, a provider services organization located in Littleton, Colorado.  There she is responsible for implementing and maintaining a proactive risk management program for over 250 emergency medicine providers (physicians & allied healthcare professionals) in Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming and Missouri.  She holds the title of Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) from the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management and the Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) from the Health Care Compliance Association


Heather Westermeyer - Treasurer

Heather Westermeyer received her Master’s of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. She currently works as the Manager of Insurance and Claims for Centura Health. She is responsible for the administration of the Commercial Insurance Program, Self-Funded Trust for HPL and GL and Self-Insured Workers' Compensation Permit for Porter Care Adventist Health System.


Robert Gance - Past President

RHSM, MBA, PMP (Registered Hospital Safety Manager, and Project Manager Professional)

Robert currently is the facility manager at the new Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland Colo. There he is responsible for the entire campus engineering and Physical Security. This is a 134 bed acute care and heart hospital which opened on Feb 14th and is part of the Poudre Valley Health System.

Prior to coming to the Medical Center he was the facility manager and physical risk manager at Platte Valley Medical center in Brighton Colo.

Judy Zuccone

Associate Administrator for Quality Services at Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs, CO. since December 2000.  In that role, she has administrative responsibility for Quality and Risk Management, Infection Control, Peer Review, Medical Staff CME and Perioperative Services.  Judy began her career in Obstetrical and Pediatric nursing, and then shifted her focus to the medical/legal field initially working for a large malpractice insurance company in New York City, then to a large NYC law firm assisting in the defense of malpractice and personal injury cases.  After relocating to Colorado in 1991 she established a consulting relationship with numerous law firms in the East and in Colorado.  In 1994, she took a Risk Management position at Rose Medical Center in Denver and progressed to Director of Quality and Risk Management, Safety and Security.   Her involvement with CHARM began in 1994, and after a hiatus of several years, she reconnected and was appointed to the Executive Committee in 2003 as Community Relations Chair.
